Save the dates for our spring fairs.

Poppy & Hester have two spring fairs coming up very soon where you will be able to see and shop the full summer collection for the first time.

Both fairs are organised by Selvedge Magazine, the first is at the American Museum in the beautiful city of Bath on March 28th and is running as part of Bath In Fashion week. The second is on April 25th at the Old Town Hall in Chelsea, London.

Hester Loves...

In our news series on the blog, Hester Loves..., we will be exploring the things that inspire and delight Poppy & Hester. In our first post today we look at the lovely book Arthur's Dream Boat. Written and beautifully illustrated by Polly Dunbar, we love this magical children's book and the sunset pictures provided great inspiration for our colour story this season!

Our baby blankets have arrived!

It's snowing outside so we were very excited to receive our delivery of beautiful lambswool baby blankets this morning! We'll get them onto the website ASAP. We hope you like them!

Poppy & Hester Baby Blankets

We are really excited about our new range of baby blankets, they are due to be delivered any day now! In the meantime our weavers, based on the Isle of Skye have sent us some pictures of the blankets on the loom and we thought you might like a little look...

There are three beautiful designs in pink, blue and a sunset colourway to compliment our new spring collection (also a great colour if you don't know the sex of the baby yet!). Made from the softest lambswool to keep babies cosy and warm.

The loom is originally from Harris in the Outer Hebrides, famous for it's beautiful tweeds, and it is pedal powered, just like a bike! You can just see the pedals in the first photo below.

We'll let you know once they are available to buy on the website.

 

Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone! We have been away for a little while but we are back in 2015 with a brand new collection. It has taken slightly longer to develop than usual as we have been working hard to make our brand as ethical as we can.

For the new spring/summer collection we have designed some lovely new prints that are produced on a 100% organic cotton base and printed here in the UK. We are also introducing a lovely range of cosy bamboo/wool knitwear which will be delivered any day now and have developed some gorgeous baby blankets in the softest lambswool that are handwoven for us on the Isle of Skye.

More details on all of these coming soon, but first a sneak preview of how the new collection is shaping up...

Autumn Collection Pop Up Shop

We are receiving deliveries of our new autumn/winter collection this week and everything is looking lovely! The new stock will be on the website soon and there are a few pieces from the summer collection still on sale but for the first chance to buy from the new collection save this date...

We are having a pop-up shop at the Bake and Crafthouse in Cranbrook on Friday October 11th at 9am. 

Here are a few pictures from our latest photoshoot which we also had at the Bake and Crafthouse. The new range features lovely soft and warm brushed cottons as well as our usual selection of pretty prints. Gorgeous dresses with ruffle details, blouses with our signature peter pan collar and co-ordinating skirts with button trims.

There will be a pop-up cafe run by the Bake and Crafthouse on the same day and they are offering 20% off everything in their shop for one day only.
